President & CEO & Director
Tom is a professional engineer with 26 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry across basins in Western Canada and the United States. Prior to co-founding Caltex Trilogy Inc., Tom co-founded Caltex Resources Ltd. and as Chairman, President & CEO led its growth through the drill-bit and acquisitions from start-up to production levels greater than 13,000 boe/day when the company was sold in November 2021. Tom is a serial entrepreneur, prior to co-founding Caltex Resources Ltd., Tom co-founded two other private oil and gas companies, Caltex Energy Inc. and Krang Energy Inc., and led them from start-up to successful sales for shareholders. Previously, he had various technical and management roles with Burlington Resources in Calgary and Midland, Texas. Tom received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1996. Tom has been on various private co. boards. Tom is currently a director of privately held Compass Well Services, a Texas-based pressure pumping company, and is a director of Clear Water Academy, a not-for-profit school in Calgary, Alberta.

Brent is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in both the domestic and international oil and gas industries. Most recently, Brent was a co-founder, Sr. Vice President, Finance & CFO, Corporate Secretary and a Director of Caltex Resources Ltd. Immediately prior thereto he was a co-founder and Vice President, Finance & CFO of Caltex Energy Inc. Brent has held additional positions with several publicly traded domestic and international E&P companies with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, budgeting, financial reporting and taxation.

Vice President, Operations
Kevin is a Petroleum Engineering Technologist with 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently Kevin was Production Manager at Caltex Resources. Prior to that he worked in progressing roles from field operations to production engineering at Black Shire Energy, Harvest Operations Corp, Magin Energy, and Northstar Energy. Kevin has a diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and is a Certified Engineering Technologist and member of the Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.

Sr. Vice President, Development & Director
Peter is a professional geologist with 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently Peter was a co-founder, Vice President Development at Caltex Resources. Before that he was a Senior Geologist at Caltex Energy Inc. in the Heavy oil Business group. Immediately prior thereto he was an Area Geologist at Canadian Natural Resources where he worked in central Alberta. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science, Geology degree from the University of Calgary.

Sr. Vice President, Exploration & Director
Brett was a co-founder and Director of Caltex Resources and is a professional geologist with 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Previously, he was a co-founder, Vice President Exploration and a Director at Caltex Energy Inc., which grew to over 11,500 boepd in 5 years and sold in July 2011. Brett served as a director for Roke Technologies Ltd from 2014 to 2019 and earlier in his career, held various geological positions at Krang Energy Inc. and Husky Energy.

David Ambedian is currently an independent businessman primarily focused on exploration and production opportunities in Canada’s energy sector. His experience as an executive officer, investor, and director spans over 35 years. Executive positions have included Sr. Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer for Mosaic Energy Ltd., a founding Partner with 32° Capital, a private energy focused investment management company, and co-founder and VP, Finance of Glacier Energy Limited, Ice Energy and Avalanche Energy Limited. In addition, he has served as a director for numerous exploration and production companies throughout his career. He is a past member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and holds a Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta.

Craig joined NGP in 2006 and serves as Partner of the NGP funds. He brings over 37 years of legal and financial experience to the firm’s structuring and execution activities. Craig plays an active role in the full range of NGP’s investment process and sits on the firm’s Executive Committee.
Previously, Craig served as Managing Director and General Counsel for NGP Midstream & Resources from 2006 to 2008. He was a founding partner of Kosmos Energy Holdings and served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 2003 to 2006. His previous tenures also include Hunt Resources and Hunt Oil Company (1999 to 2003), Gulf Canada Resources, Limited (1994 to 1999) and Torch Energy Advisors (1994). Craig was a Partner in the law firm of Vinson & Elkins from 1985 to 1994 and has been a director of six publicly-traded companies: HighPoint Resources, Vantage Energy, Northern Blizzard Resources, Inc., Parallel Energy Trust, Westside Energy, Inc., and Gulf Indonesia Resources.
Craig received a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Tulane University in 1982 and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1985, where he was a member of the Texas Law Review.

Peter co-founded Annapolis in 2006 and provides the overall strategic leadership of the firm and its investment funds. In addition, Peter leads investor relations and reporting as well as fundraising. Peter currently represents Annapolis on the board of directors of Artis Exploration Ltd. Prior to joining Annapolis, Peter was the CEO and Chairman of several private equity backed start up private oil and gas companies, the COO of a large NYSE listed oil and gas company and a governor of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP). Prior to entering the oil and gas industry in 1993, Peter practiced law at Bennett Jones LLP for 11 years.
Peter earned a B.A. (economics) and an LL.B., both from Dalhousie University. Until March 2023 Peter was a founding director and chair of the Investment Committee of the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation, a crown corporation of the Alberta Government, a leading economic reconciliation vehicle in Canada, enabling investment opportunities for Indigenous groups as economic partners in natural resource, agriculture, forestry, and other industry projects. Peter is also a founder of, and actively engaged member with, Youth Power Hour and Lionheart Foundation charities, focused on ensuring youth of all genders receive best-in-class mental health supports needed for anxiety based mental health challenges.
